How are writing and editing for the Web different from writing and editing for print? How can you adapt your print skill set for an electronic environment? Web writing is part art, part science, and this class is designed to show you how to confidently blend the two and create the best experience for your clients. You will discover what makes a Web page succeed or fail and learn a few valuable tricks to apply:

  • Use the ideal number of words per page to attract and hold a client’s attention
  • Ensure that information is scannable rather than simply readable
  • Capture the tone of a 2.0 world in your messaging

This three-hour workshop includes interactive exercises for you to practice skills as you learn them. You will have time to ask questions and get answers as you encounter challenges.
